WHAT IS ONCE

Legal, professionally supported psilocybin pathway in Europe For burnout, exhaustion, and mental wellbeing

BEFORE ANYTHING

A medical doctor reviews your medical and psychiatric history, current medication, wellbeing and known risk factors before anything is planned. If you are currently receiving treatment or taking prescribed medication, discuss any changes with your own doctor or prescribing clinician. Never stop or adjust medication without their guidance.

DURING THE SESSIONS

Online preparation with an IFS psychotherapist specialising in relational work. One private in-person session in Amsterdam. Your facilitator remains nearby 1-to-1 throughout the session. Roles, boundaries and the support plan are agreed in advance.

AFTER THE SESSION

An online IFS integration session helps you make sense of what arose and consider how it relates to relationships, work, decisions and daily life.

Evidence

  • Clinical studies report promising outcomes for depression.
  • Results vary between individuals, and evidence on long-term outcomes is still developing.

Safety first

  • Medical screening and medication review take place before any session is planned.
  • Potential risks and reasons not to proceed are reviewed individually by a qualified clinician.

Regulated access

  • Regulated or lawful access now exists in a number of countries under different models.
  • Before any paid step, we explain who is responsible for medical decisions, preparation, sessions and follow-up.

*17 of 24 participants (71%) with major depression had at least a 50% reduction in depression symptoms four weeks after the second psilocybin session. The study protocol included two psilocybin sessions. The study does not predict an individual outcome or describe the ONCE pathway.

I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to have this experience. It has had a profound impact on many aspects of my life. Even though life can still be stressful and difficult at times, I now find it much easier to create space for calmness and contemplation. I feel more whole and more free. I also feel that some important parts of me have healed in a way I had been searching for for many years through psychotherapy, personal work, and relationships, but had never quite been able to reach. This session helped me resolve several important inner questions. Over time, the constant background anxiety I used to experience disappeared, my sleep improved, and many other signs of anxiety faded as well. During the following six months, I was also able to deal with a number of practical and career-related challenges that had previously felt extremely difficult or almost impossible. Some of my fundamental beliefs about myself and what I am capable of have changed too. Where I used to automatically think, “I can’t do this,” I now feel much more freedom to try — and to discover that actually, I can. Even now, when things become difficult, I sometimes return in my memories to the room where everything happened. Remembering that experience helps me reconnect with myself and with a sense of inner grounding. I’m incredibly grateful to the organizers for giving me the opportunity to take part and have this experience. I think I can say without exaggeration that it has been one of the most important experiences of my life.

I was fortunate enough to attend a psilocybin experience with ONCE. In the last year I found the integrative approach more beneficial than other experiences I had tried. I needed more than the session itself, and the combination of care, therapy and continued support helped me stay engaged in the work of improving myself.

I participated in a private session last December. From day one the whole crew was amazing, professional, and compassionate. The combination of substance, alongside the science and knowledge of the modern medical world, produced a whole and sacred experience, that was led by amazing people. It was beyond expectations. Definitely one of the most memorable and meaningful experiences of my life.
